Palmy 11'

Assalamualaikum w.b.t. and good evening to all,

Alhamdulillah after 3 days of journey from Malaysia, finally I reached Palmerston North last Sunday morning. The journey started on Friday afternoon from LCCT before arrived in Melbourne Airport in Saturday's morning. The transit took me around 10 hours before the next connecting flight in the afternoon. I arrived in Auckland, New Zealand around 5pm. From there, I took an express coach to Palmerston North and finally arrived in Sunday morning. So, as I said in the previous post, I spent most of the time on my bed. Huhu.

As I said before, this year I'm staying in the new flat ; 8/107A Ferguson Street. So, this is the flat.

It's pretty spacious, and I'm living with another three of my friends.

And we got our own cat too. (This is Hafiz Bakri's cat).

Currently, it is summer right now in Palmy, with the estimated temperature is around 17 to 28 degree celcius. Sun setting quite late, that's around 8pm.

I spent the last afternoon in The Square.

Towards the End..

Assalamualaikum w.b.t. and good day,

• My three months summer holidays now finally come to the end. I will leaving for New Zealand on Friday next week.

• Semester 1 2011 in Massey University commences on 28th February. It means, I will arrived a week earlier ; perfect timing to be prepared with everything necessary.

• For your information, I'm moving to new house with new housemates. It is 8/107A Ferguson St. The place is quite far from the campus compared to my house last year, but it's closer to the nearest bus-stop. So, not a big problem either.

Journey Back

• This time, I will travelling alone, as usual. The flight is from Kuala Lumpur to Melbourne with AirAsia X (Now Everyone Can Fly). I'm leaving at afternoon, and will arriving midnight.

• There will be 8 hours gap to the next connecting flight so, I need to find somewhere else in the airport to sleep.

• The next flight will leave in the morning all the way to Auckland. And as last time, I choose Emirates (gonna love this :D) Supposed that the flight arrived in Auckland that Saturday's afternoon.

• Well, here's the thrill. All the flight's ticket to Palmerston North are already sold out, so I decided to take coach from the airport back to Palmy.

• The journey usually will takes around 10 hours. So, if I'm leaving at 8pm, the bus will arrived in Palmy around 6am in the Sunday morning.

• And for sure, I'll spend the whole Sunday on my bed :D

Problem

I have tried lodging my ETA application for transiting in Melbourne from yesterday, but something wrong happened where I cannot access the online payment's page. I have sent an email to the department and they replied and said, if it still happened, then I have to go myself to the embassy in Kuala Lumpur A.S.A.P. Without this, I won't be allowed aboard to Australia.

So, I'm coming to KL this weekend and probably drop by the embassy on Friday (tomorrow) or the next Monday.

P/s : I'm going to ASiS this Saturday.

Balik NZ-Part 2

Well,let makes this as simple as possible.I went back to Auckland on 19th Feb (Friday).

Flight dari Melbourne ke Auckland time aku book taun lepas spatutnye on 6.45pm tapi i dunno why,tetibe lak re-schedule kpada jam 9.55am.So btolak dari umah Akim around 8am n smpai dlm kul 8.30pagi cmtuh.Alhamdulillah,check in process xde masalah pun.

Boarding time dalam kul 9.40pagi cmtuh so terus I went through the custom nye inspection etc before masuk dalam plane.

Pjalanan amek masa lebih kurang dlm 3 jam before landing kat Auckland.Immigration process,alhamdulillah done without any problem.I was assisted by a Muslim officer which he told me that he was a student before in my university.Then,I went to the I-Site to store my luggage,which costs me $15.I did texting my friend in Auckland,Shafiq Asyraf to fetch me in front of his hostel (Mount Street).But it seemed that the aerobus which took me to Auckland CBD was a lil bit late,which I acknowledged then was due to the traffic jam to the city.The driver then used the short cut which later on worked.Arrived at Mount Street around 5.30pm.

Shafiq now tinggal kat Mount Terrace,sebelah dgn umah dye yg lame kat Quest.So I did rest there for a few hours before btolak balik ke airport dalam kul 4.30pagi dgn aerobus.

Arrived in the airport around 5am,I went to the I-Site to claim back my luggage which I stored there when I just arrived.Im waiting there in the lookout point till the Fajr prayer.At the lookout point,there lotsa people yg tido kat situ smntara nunggu flight.

Selesai solat,I walked from the international terminal to domestic one.Checked in my luggage around 6.15am without any problem.Then,while waiting for the flight at 7am,I met with Zin Zee,my lab-partner last year.She just arrived from Malaysia with Royal Brunei and supposed to board the flight on 9.30am but she did changed it to the earliest one,which the one that I took that morning.As most of my friends,she's also went flatting this year.

6.45am, the boarding time.It took around 1hour of journey before arriving in Palmerston North.It's cold that morning in Palmy with temperature around 8degree celcius.

Finally,smpai gak kt Epot Palmy.Alhamdulillah,without any problem.

Thanks to Lutfi,Worm and Hafezz for picking me up.Since RSO is open on 11am, I decided to follow them to the garage sales around Palmy.I got nothing to buy since Im living on campus as these things are provided.They need to find something for their house like mirror,duvet,pillow etc.

After finished with that,they brought me to the RSO to claim my key.I was allocated a room at E3-6,which means on the 3rd floor.

Classes commence this Monday so,it's gonna be a hectic weekend which I hope I can go through without any much problem Insya Allah.

Balik NZ-Part 1

Sedar x sedar,dah habis pun cuti summer 3 bulan aku kat Malaysia.So,it's time to going back utk sambung balik studies aku kat NZ.Flights balik sume dah settle.Tinggal nak balik je.Kali ni,aku transit kat beberapa tempat utk beberapa hari,xmacam mase aku balik Mesia taun lepas.Time tu aku naik MAS direct dari Auckland ke KLIA.

So,roughly it is like this; dari LCCT ke Melbourne dengan AirAsiaX,stay dalam dua hari kt sne n then from Melbourne ke Auckland dgn Pacific Blue.Ade 12jam interval dgn connecting flight aku gi Palmerston North(Palmy) so,Im planning to have a rest at my friend's house in Auckland.N finally naik flight balik Palmy.

Finally,the time has come;16hb Feb 2010.Malam sebelum tu aku tido kat umah akak aku kat Putrajaya.Flight kul 1.30pm so dalam kul 11 camtu btolak dari umah akak aku ke LCCT.Ramai gak orang kat LCCT ni ari tuh.Cuti raya Cina kot.Alhamdulillah,check-in dgn inspection passport sume xde masalah.Btw,aku xrealise yg there is a group of ex-KMSian yg balik skali with me.They're Mirah,Shera,DD,Dilos,Hids,Felix,Nasir,Rafi n Syafiq Kadir.And finally,there goes a farewell between me and my family.Jumpe lg ujung taun ni Insya Allah.

It took around 8 hours of flight duration.Sepatutnye lg awal tapi de prob sket time nak take off so agak lewat sampai kat Melbourne.Personally,this 8hours of flight was quite boring.Seat dye sempit compared to MAS.N then food yg aku pre-book online pun sket gile.But it's still cheaper than MAS.I have been sleeping for 3 hours and keep awake for the next 4 hours.By that time,plane already fly over the Australian's land,and matahari dh pun terbenam.

Alhamdulillah,plane touched down dalam kul 1.30 pagi kat Tullamarine Airport,Melbourne.Macam bese,ade few pemeriksaan and I went through without any problems.KMSian guys yg balik Sydney esok pagi stay kat airport except Nasir yg balik tngahari esoknya while girls ikut Dilos stay kat umah dye.Dalam kul 2 pagi camtuh,Padil dgn Chill (Wan Azri) datang amek aku kt airport,bawak tros gi umah downg kat Brunswick.Time tu ade rmai gak yg tinggal kat umah tu.Ade Anam,Hot,Rayap,Nyai,Padil,Chill, dengan Akim.Actually rmai lagi yg tggal situ tp mostly ade kt Msia n will only going back this 20th Feb.Smpai2,terus rest and tido.

First day,stay umah je.Akim baru je balik dari exam summer school dye.Aku pn malas nak kuar umah sbab still letih lg dari flight tuh.So stay la sehari tu kat umah je,nengok movie,maen game,masak kat dapur dgn online smpai pagi.

Second day,hari nak berjalan-jalan.Tp agak terbantut sket.Membe sume ngantuk giler.Tido lewat coz tngok bola pagi tuh.So plan nk kuar dlm kul 1 ptg cmtuh tlewat lak jadik kul 3ptang.Xkisah la.janji kuar gak.

Akim cover ngantuk.Hahaha.

Aku kuar dgn Akim n Chill.Target time tu nak pgi Victoria Market.Last2 bila sampai bnyak kedai lak tutup.So jnjalan la around city time tuh before going to Blok-M for makan2.

Blok-M is one of the Indonesian restaurant kat Melbourne ni where most of my friends were fond of its food,same with me too.I did eat ayam bakar this time and it is so good.Huhu.

Since aku yg abes makan dulu,so kne la tunggu deme ni abes makan lak.

After that,terus balik umah kat Brunswick.So,quite satisfied since Im not coming here utk jalan2 as my sole purpose (transit je pun).Thanks to Akim since Im in contact with him for the last three months to get me here.I will be leaving tomorrow at 9am from Tullamarine to Auckland via Pacific Blue Airlines.
